A neutral intermediary for UK regulated market data. One API to replace thousands of bilateral agreements.
ClauseHub standardises regulated disclosure data across UK consumer markets. We sit between suppliers and consumers as a neutral intermediary, replacing bilateral data-sharing agreements with a single, uniform API.
73+ energy suppliers, 11+ comparison sites, countless bilateral agreements. Each using different formats — CSV over FTP, email, Excel. No standardised, commission-free data API exists for whole-of-market UK tariff data.
A single intermediary API platform. Suppliers publish once, consumers query once. Immutable versioning means every change is auditable. JSON:API format ensures consistency.
ClauseHub was founded by Christian Macedo, a software engineer with experience across financial services, energy, and data infrastructure. After seeing firsthand how fragmented tariff data flows between energy suppliers and comparison sites — CSV files, FTP drops, bespoke integrations — the idea for a neutral data intermediary took shape.
The premise is straightforward: if Open Banking proved that standardised APIs can transform financial data access, the same model can work for energy tariffs, telecoms contracts, and banking product disclosures. ClauseHub is that intermediary — commission-free, standards-compliant, and built for regulatory transparency.
